Anna Rijnders, a modest and intelligent 21 year old psychology student, completely loses herself in her own virtual world after her borther Stijn gets into a heavy motorcycle accident. After a wild night of partying Anna can barely remember anything from the night before. Still hungover, she discovers an unknown app on her smartphone. This mysterious app (called Iris) helpfully gives her all the correct answers to her questions. Not only on scientific and historical issues. But also on matters involving her own personal life and that of her friends. The cryptic texts and questions become more and more intrusive. When mysterious deaths start to arise. Anna slowly realizes she has to fight back, because this is more than any regular APP.
